SHHS in the Snow and the Meneely Bell

So, for those of you who aren't around this winter, this is what the Annie Cooper Boyd House looked like with some snow...we've gotten more lately!

If you missed it this fall, we were grateful to have Andy Toro of Toro Tool & Die install the Meneely bell the Sag Harbor Whaling Museum gifted us. This bell hung at the Union Schoolhouse (which is now the Municipal Building) when Annie Cooper Boyd went to school there. If you're a regular newsletter reader, this project might sound familiar.

At this point, it's safe to say the bell is pretty well covered by snow, but you should keep an eye out for it after the snow starts to melt!
