Phones Will Be Off at SHHS for 8/29 and 8/30

Please be patient with us this week, we expect our phones will not be operating for Thursday and Friday of this week.

For the time being, webmaster AT sagharborhistorical DOT org will be checked every few hours, and there will be someone at the SHHS house on Saturday and Sunday from 1-4 pm.

Additionally, the outage will be caused by computer maintenance timed to coincide with an upgrade to our fire and alarm system.

Our computer system will be in the shop to be partitioned to allow us to run some new content management software, which is the current industry standard for museums and small library collections like the materials SHHS owns at the Annie Cooper Boyd House.

Both of these upgrades are routine, and the alarm upgrade reflects SHHS's efforts to make sure we meet current code regulations for a building that gets opened to the public.
