Join us for our last Fridays on the Porch this year!

As usual, "Fridays on the Porch" will begin at 5 pm, at the Annie Cooper Boyd House. The event is free and open to the public, but we rely on donations to be able to host these events. The event will include wine and appetizers.

This Friday, August 23rd, will be the last of the popular "Fridays on the Porch" series for this year. SHHS hopes to bring back the event next year.

For our last event, local resident Robert Browngardt will speak about his family's military service from the Civil War through World War II. Browngardt's family legacy includes a dramatic series of events surrounding a World War II aircraft crash!
